The Nuggets championship parade on Thursday drew a crowd some estimated to be half a million through downtown Denver. The parade started at Ball Arena, worked towards Union Station and then finished off with speeches at Civic Center Park; where DJ’s played for the excited crowd earlier. During the parade, thousands of fans jumped or got around barricades and followed Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic’s fire truck. In the chaos, a police officer was pinned under the fire truck for a short period and is in serious condition.
