On April 13, 2023, Officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department were involved in a tactical vehicle intervention with two community members. This incident qualified for our Significant Event Briefing Video, the fourth one since the policy became active on February 1, 2023. This email is to notify you that we are publicly releasing the briefing video on our Cases of Interest web page. The Significant Event Briefing Video provides a summary of releasable facts, circumstances, and information currently known to investigators regarding the event. The video contains graphic descriptions and footage that may be disturbing to some individuals. Viewer discretion is advised.
