Reports of the early morning house fire came in around 3:30 a.m, the house was full involved and is a total loss. The residents evacuated the home with no injuries. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Crews responded to a fire early Friday morning near Harvard Street in the Widefield area. The first reports came in around 3:30 Friday morning.
Fire crews say a house was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived and is considered a total loss. Right now crews are putting out hot spots.
Everyone inside of the the house at the time of the fire was able to get out.
The houses on each side were impacted by the flames, but residents are still able to be inside.

The fire spread to Piatt’s home, burning the side of her house. Piatt said a neighbor knocked on her door and she evacuated her home after 3 a.m. Piatt has lived at her home since 1976. Security Fire Department remained on scene to monitor hotspots. The residents of the house fire were able to evacuate the home with no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
