In late October, Colorado got its 42nd state park as officials — including Gov. Jared Polis — opened Fishers Peak State Park with a special ceremony near Trinidad. The park is the state’s second largest and offers hiking trails, limited hunting access and cattle grazing through a partnership with local ranchers and Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
