Girl Scouts and their family members were making our city cleaner on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, by participating in the 7th annual Creek Week. Etta Wilson, Lynnae Goss, and Evie Wilson (left to right) find trash to carry out on a hillside near Fountain Creek. Hundreds of volunteers throughout the week have been working to complete the Creek Week mission that aims to bring the Fountain Creek Watershed communities together to foster the health of our local waterways for its citizens and wildlife alike. Creek Week continues through Oct. 4. More information can be found at www.fountaincreekweek.com. (Photo by Jerilee Bennett, The Gazette) (JERILEE BENNETT, THE GAZETTE)
