Suspected drunken driver seriously injures construction worker south of downtown Colorado Springs
A suspected drunken driver was arrested Friday after she drove into and seriously injured a construction worker south of downtown Colorado Springs, police said.
The female construction worker, who was wearing reflective clothing, was hit while working in the 500 block of South Tejon Street. She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Andrea Selander, 36, appeared to be intoxicated, police said, and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
