When Palmer High School teacher Courtney Bzymek said goodbye to her students for an extended spring break on March 13, 2020, she thought they would be back in the classroom in a couple weeks. Instead, she packed up her classroom for the end of the school year on Wednesday, two months after El Paso County schools closed because of the pandemic, and joined her colleagues in a parade for the senior class of 2020.
