The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region announced an ambitious plan Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, to redevelop nearly an entire city block in downtown Colorado Springs, a project that officials of the nonprofit and community leaders predict will become a catalyst for additional development in downtown’s core.
