2 killed in crash on I-25 near Monument
Two people were killed when their truck struck the bridge on southbound Interstate 25 at Colorado 105, the State Patrol confirmed.
The one-vehicle collision occurred about 10 a.m. Friday. Because the truck stopped so far off the highway, only its right lane was shut down, said State Patrol spokesman Gary Cutler.
Authorities did not release identities of either victim.
The Colorado Department of Transportation will inspect the bridge for damage, Cutler said. Click here for statewide road updates from CDOT.
