Voter Guide: 2019 Colorado Springs municipal election

This year’s city election has familiar faces, high-profile politicians and political newcomers running for mayor and three at-large City Council seats.

Also on the ballot this election: Issue 1, proposed by the Professional Firefighters Association. The ballot measure asks voters to approve collective bargaining rights for the city’s firefighters.

The April 2 municipal election is an all-mail ballot election. Ballots were sent out March 8 to active, registered voters—and should have been received by March 13.

Ballots should not be mailed in after Tuesday, and can be dropped off at several locations around the city. Check out these voter tips for more info, including  how to get a ballot if you did not receive one.

A sample ballot can be downloaded here.
