United Airlines Flight 585 Crash – In March 1991, United Airlines flight 585 crashed in Colorado Springs, killing all 25 passengers and crew members aboard. After investigating, the NTSB announced that a faulty rudder system was likely the cause of the crash, but others believe different theories outside the NTSB’s report. According to one theory, the pilot was involved in an affair with the co-pilot. While preparing to land at the Colorado Springs Airport, the co-pilot told the pilot that she wanted to end the affair. Aurora Theater Shooting – There is speculation that the U.S. government somehow had a hand in the Aurora theater shooting that left 12 people dead and more than 70 others injured on June 20, 2012. One theorist claims that the attack was a government ploy to bolster support for the upcoming U.N. vote on the “global small arms treaty,” which could have resulted in gun confiscation across America. Second Aurora Theater Gunman? – Although investigators were confident that James Holmes acted alone in the Aurora Theater Shooting, speculators believe he was not the only shooter. Cattle Mutilations – Cattle mutilations in the San Luis Valley have baffled ranchers and officials for years. The animals’ innards were gone, tongues were sliced out, udders were carefully removed, eyes were cored away and facial skin was sliced and gone, without a drop of blood on the ground or remaining skin. Some believe it’s the work of extraterrestrial life. Blucifer, The Haunted Mustang – One of the first things travelers are greeted by when leaving Denver International Airport is a 32-foot-tall, neon blue sculpture of a mustang. Nicknamed “Blucifer and “DIAblo,” the piece of public art is believed to be haunted. New Mexican artist Luis Jiminez was rushing to finish the Mustang on June 13, 2006, when a piece of the sculpture fell on the artist, killing him. DIA – Denver International Airport is the subject of many conspiracy theories. Some claim the airport was built to house the headquarters of the New World Order, which theorists believe is a group of influential people throughout the world whose goal is to take over the world. The Secret Life of JonBenet Ramsey – Could Katy Perry secretly be JonBenet Ramsey, the child beauty queen who was mysteriously murdered in her Boulder home in 1996?
