Medical issue apparently caused fatal rollover in Colorado Springs
A driver was killed when his car flipped Tuesday morning at South Eighth Street and Oxford Lane after an apparent medical event, police said.
Anthony Thies, 47, drove into the curb several times before striking a tree and electrical box, then rolling the car.
The El Paso County coroner will determine the cause of death, but speed and alcohol are not considered to be factors in the crash.
South Eighth Street was closed for more than three hours, reopening shortly before 11 a.m.
