Police identify man killed in Colorado Springs motorcycle crash

The man who died in a motorcycle crash Saturday night has been identified as 35-year-old Michael Cerquozzi.

Police received a call at about 8 p.m. about a motorcycle accident in the 2500 block of Hancock Expressway.

Police said when they arrived the rider of the motorcycle was unresponsive, and Cerquozzi was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Cerquozzi was not wearing a helmet.

This crash was the 24th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs this year and the fourth involving a motorcycle.
