The new Fred Rogers documentary is packed with special moments. During one, he’s in a U.S. Senate hearing, making a case for PBS funding and doing it with a song from the “Neighborhood.” “What do you do with the mad that you feel?” he starts, going on about the importance of feelings and kindness. Now showing at Kimball’s Peak Three downtown and Tinseltown, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” is the big-hearted movie we need. “It’s such a good feeling to know you’re alive,” Rogers sang at the end credits, resonating with the teary-eyed audience.
