Movers & Shakers: Codi Thurness
Codi Thurness has joined Melody Living as executive director of the assisted living and memory support community, which will open in August. She was commissioner of survey, certification and credentialing for two years for the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services. She previously was administrator of Stoneybrook Retirement Community and held various positions at Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community, both in Manhattan, Kan. She also has worked at the Kansas Elks Training Center for the Handicapped Inc. She is a graduate of Kansas State University.
