The AMBER alert has been canceled.

Kyley Phipps was found safe in Nebraska Thursday night by the Nebraska State Patrol, Thornton police tweeted.

The girl’s mother was taken into custody.

An AMBER alert was issued Thursday evening out of Thornton for a 2-year-old girl, Colorado officials say.

Kyley Phipps might be in a black 2012 Nissan Pathfinder with Colorado license plate 204NKQ, the AMBER alert website says. She was last seen about noon near Holly Street and East 136th Avenue in Thornton.

She might be with Donetta Phipps, 47, who reportedly was ordered to relinquish the girl at 1 p.m. and failed to show.

“We are concerned the child is in imminent physical and emotional danger,” the alert website says.
