Brewers’ Bracket: Only the Championship game remains; time to make your pick
Unlike the NCAA March Madness the 2018 Pikes Peak Brewers’ Bracket still sort of has a Cinderella, Cerberus Brewing, in the championship game.
The bracket lets Gazette readers vote for their favorite Colorado Springs-area breweries in a friendly, March Hoops-inspired contest that will run through early in the first week of April.
Adults 21 and up who register online are eligible for the grand prize, a gift card to Cheers Liquor Mart. A winner will be chosen, at random, after the close of the contest.
Here is the championship matchup: Cerberus Brewing vs. Red Leg Brewing Co.
Cerberus opened in 2016 while Red Leg has been open since 2013.
The road to the championship matchup
Cerberus Brewing beat out, Bristol Brewing Company in the last matchup. Before that Cerberus knocked out Trinity Brewing, Smiling Toad Brewery and Storybook Brewing.
On the other side of the bracket, Red Leg Brewing Co. beat Iron Bird Brewing, Nano 108, Local Relic and Fossil Craft Beer Co.
