Palmer High School lockdown lifted after investigation of possible threat
Palmer High School in downtown Colorado Springs was on lockdown Monday morning due to a possible threat, according to a tweet from Colorado Springs District 11.
The school, located at 301 N. Nevada Ave, went on lockdown while the district investigated the threat made by a current student, according to District 11 spokeswoman Devra Ashby.
The lockdown lasted less than two hours.
“The lockdown at Palmer is lifted. Students/staff remain safe,” the district tweeted.
