Mountain View Bank has changed its name to Waypoint Bank as part of an effort to adopt a common name across its entire operation in Colorado and Nebraska.

Mountain View Bank was the name First Bank & Trust Co. used for its downtown Colorado Springs branch, 24 S. Weber St., Suite 115. All seven locations, including Colorado Springs, five branches in Nebraska and a loan office in Loveland began operating Tuesday under the Waypoint Bank name. The Cozad, Neb.-based parent company of First Bank & Trust, First Financial Services, changed its name to Waypoint Financial.
