Snow possible for higher elevations this weekend
A slow-moving storm is bringing moisture to Colorado, including a chance for snow, above 9-000-feet in elevation, on Saturday and Sunday nights.
As fall commences and winter looms, The Colorado Department of Transportation reminds drivers: Don’t crowd the plow!
Snow plow drivers will be on mountain roads this weekend applying deicers in some areas, according to CDOT. Drivers should give snow plow operators “space to work” and keep a safe distance.
This upcoming week, the weather will remain cool with temperatures below seasonal norms, according to the National Weather Service, with a chance of showers at lower elevations and possibly snow at higher elevations.
