Marco Polo charged with fleeing police
A man named Marco Polo is accused of leading police on a blind chase.
Bismarck Police stopped Polo late Monday night for a missing headlight and fleeing a traffic stop. Polo told officers he left a hotel after an argument with his girlfriend, who he said had thrown water on him.
Polo reportedly couldn’t provide any contact information for police to corroborate his story.
Polo, 39, of Bismarck, is charged with felony fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. Last year, he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of the same amid other theft- and drug-related offenses.
