Swift sends flowers to Denver company that supported her
Trash is scattered across the kitchen floor of a Glade Park house on Monday. A bear ripped the screen out of a basement window and entered the house, then ate peaches a visiting houseguest had purchased earlier. No one was home at the time, and the bear escaped after being discovered by a neighbor. The animal returned on Monday and was put down by wildlife officers. At left, Homeowner Cari Pettit talks about the damage the bear did to her house. (Photo courtesy of The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel)
