Coloring in the troubled history of a renowned Roman arch

A digital re-creation of the Arch of Titus where Roman soldiers are depicted with treasures seized after their conquest of Jerusalem is overlaid on top of a photo of the original. The scene commemorates the victory parade that took place after the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and sacked the Temple in 70 A.D., in one of the decisive events of the First Jewish War (66-74 A.D.).
