GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Air Academy 46, Falcon 41, OT

At Air Academy: Katelin Gallegos scored a game-high 28 points, and Air Academy (13-2, 6-0 5A/4A Pikes Peak Athletic Conference) rallied from a 10-point deficit in the second half to force overtime and eventually pull away from Falcon (10-4, 3-2) for the Kadets’ 12th straight win.

Brooke Sulski made four of six free throws in overtime as the Kadets scored the final seven points.

“We’re figuring out ways to win,” Air Academy coach Phil Roiko said. “The one thing about these girls is that they never give up. We’ve been down big in some of them, and they keep fighting back. That’s a testament to their character.”

Falcon led 22-17 at halftime.

Liberty 50, Vista Ridge 45

At Vista Ridge: Morgan Sibley scored 12 points and Emily Vaszary added 10, lifting Liberty (10-5) past Vista Ridge (3-11) as the Lancers reached double digits in victories for only the third time in the past decade.
