Senior forward Sam Rothstein is back for a second season as captain of the Colorado College Tigers, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference program announced on Thursday.

The assistant captains are senior forward Luc Gerdes, who represented the Tigers at the recent league media day in Minneapolis, and sophomore defenseman Andrew Farny.

Gerdes, from Eden Prairie, Minn., is coming off a career year with 18 points, seven goals and 11 assists as a junior. He has 33 points (21 assists) in 82 games in his CC career. Farny of Steamboat Springs recorded 12 points (nine assists) in 34 games as a rookie.

Rothstein, whose father Tom was a captain at Minnesota, has 49 points (31 assists) in 101 career games. He hails from Minnetonka, Minn.
