Vista Ridge 7, Falcon 2
At Falcon: Pikes Peak 5A No. 3 Vista Ridge (9-6-1, 4-1 5A/4A Pikes Peak) won its sixth game in a row by defeating Pikes Peak 4A/3A No. 3 Falcon (8-7, 3-2). The game was 4-2 after the fourth inning, but Vista Ridge scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to pull away. Freshman Midori Williams had two RBIs for Vista Ridge in the win.
Palmer Ridge 16, Sand Creek 11
At Sand Creek: Palmer Ridge (8-6, 1-4 5A/4A Pikes Peak) scored in every inning, including five runs in the fifth inning, on the way to defeating Sand Creek (3-10, 0-5). Nine runs in the final three innings were not enough to complete the comeback for Sand Creek.
Discovery Canyon 20, Cheyenne Mountain 0, 2 innings
At Discovery Canyon: Pikes Peak 4A/3A No. 1 Discovery Canyon (9-5, 5-0 5A/4A Pikes Peak) scored 12 runs in the first inning and eight in the second inning on the way to victory over Cheyenne Mountain (5-6, 1-3). Four players had three RBIs and junior Jessica Johnson pitched the shutout for Discovery Canyon.
Air Academy 15, Lewis-Palmer 0, 5 innings
At Lewis-Palmer: Pikes Peak 4A/3A No. 2 Air Academy (10-4, 4-1 5A/4A Pikes Peak) scored seven runs in the top of the third inning to help take down Lewis-Palmer (7-8, 1-3). Senior Payton Romines and junior Karsen Romines both had four RBIs for Air Academy in the win.

At Stutler Bowl Stadium: After winning its first game of the season against Fossil Ridge, Cheyenne Mountain (1-6) remained unable to find another victory after being shut out by Cherry Creek (5-1). Cherry Creek scored three goals in the first half and five in the second half to win.
Colorado Academy 3, Liberty 0
At Liberty: Colorado Academy (7-0-1) remained unbeaten by taking down Liberty (1-7). Only down 1-0 at halftime, Liberty could not find a goal as Colorado Academy scored twice more in the second half.
BOYS’ GOLF
Cougar Classic
At Kissing Camels Golf Course: Luke Travins from Coronado won the individual title over Air Academy’s Justin Chiacchia via a tiebreaker after both finished with an even-par 71.
Pine Creek won the team title by seven shots after all four golfers finished between seventh and 14th place individually. Air Academy finished second as a team, with Liberty rounding out the top three.

The No. 1 doubles team of juniors Charlie Dickey and Justin Briggs provided the lone victory for Palmer as it won 6-3, 3-6, 7-6.
