Donald Trump is expected to give a speech this week about his plans to deal with immigration problems in the United States, but it won’t be delivered in Colorado.

Trump had been looking for a site in Denver for a speech on Thursday morning about immigration, two sources close to the campaign confirmed Monday, but that visit was canceled for unknown reasons.

The Republican presidential candidate has made widespread reform of the immigration system a cornerstone of his campaign, calling for a wall to be built on the Mexico border and for mass deportation of those here illegally. Trump has been delivering more thematic speeches lately that go into more detail on his plans. For example, he laid out his economic stimulus plan two weeks ago and a week after that he talked about national security. It would be in line with that trend for Trump to speak on immigration issues this week.
