Crews contain grass fire in northern Colorado

LOVELAND — Fire crews evacuated homes near a grass fire burning Thursday afternoon southwest of Loveland.

Loveland Fire Rescue Authority responded to a call about 2 p.m. in the area of Coyote Run and South County Road 29. Crews from Berthoud and Poudre Fire Authority in Fort Collins also responded.

At 3:09 p.m., Loveland Fire Rescue Authority reported in Twitter that the blaze was 100 percent contained.
