Second gun store burglarized in 2 days
Burglars crashed a van into the entrance of a Littleton gun store Wednesday morning, a day after a similar smash-and-grab gun shop burglary.
Dozens of guns were stolen in each of the two burglaries, according to authorities.
Witnesses say that at about 1:45 a.m., a white van rammed the front of Triple J Armory, 311 E. County Line Road, and that several suspects ran inside the store, according to a Littleton Police Department news release.
Littleton police confirmed that a significant amount of damage was done to the front of the gun store and that numerous firearms were missing. The first estimate is that between 20 and 30 guns were stolen, the news release says.
