Woman captures epic battle between bald eagle and goose
A Canadian photographer captured an epic battle between an American bald eagle and a Canada goose earlier this week, and let’s just says there shouldn’t be any doubts about who came out on top in this one.
Cue the U-S-A chant.
Lisa Bell of Browser, B.C., was on vacation with her family when she heard loud noises and watched as a bald eagle landed on top of a goose, CTV Vancouver Island reported.
“I scooted to get my camera, and when I came back down he was still there,” she told CTV Vancouver Island. “The goose basically was playing dead.”
Browser snapped photos as the goose tried to outsmart the eagle, and ultimately escaped from its clutches and made a beeline for the water.
