Airlines start offering travel waivers in advance of Colorado storm
Airlines are trying to get ahead of the impending Colorado wintry spring storm.
Carriers have posted travel advisories and have offered some rebookings in advance of the weekend weather that is expected to bring up to 14 inches of snow in Denver and dump as much as 4 feet of snow in the mountains.
As of Friday morning, Delta Air Lines, Denver-based Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and Virgin America had posted advisories for travel through Colorado Springs and Denver.
