The El Paso County Parks Advisory Board has two volunteer openings for residents who will help review proposals for parks development in the county.

The El Paso County commissioners appoint the nine members of the parks board, each of whom serves a three-year term and is limited to two consecutive terms. The board meets the second Wednesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at Centennial Hall, at 200 South Cascade Ave.

The openings are for District 2 and District 4. Applications can be found by clicking here. Applicants should reference the board and position they want to represent and include a mailing address and phone number. Those interested in the positions can get more information by calling 520-6555.
