Former President Bill Clinton to campaign for wife in Colorado Springs on Sunday
Former President Bill Clinton will be in Colorado Springs and Pueblo this weekend stumping for his wife, who is the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Both events are free and open to the public. Clinton will be Pueblo Convention Center & amp; Memorial Hall in Pueblo on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. and at Colorado College in Colorado Springs on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
This is the first time Bill Clinton is coming to Colorado to help Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Hillary Clinton was in Denver last weekend for the annual Colorado Democratic dinner. She and opponent Bernie Sanders, a Vermont senator, were the keynote speakers.
Clinton’s campaign is opening offices across the state to help her in advance of the March 1 primary. Democrats will hold a presidential preference straw poll as voters nominate delegates to the county and state assemblies.
