Colorado Springs police arrested a man Sunday who, they say, was found sleeping in a stolen car.

Officers responded to South 15th Street and Colorado Avenue around 10:15 a.m. when they got reports of a man asleep on the wheel of a car. An investigation revealed that the car had been reported as stolen.

Police arrested the man, 31-year-old Mitchel Anderson, on suspicion of possessing heroin. Mitchell also had a loaded gun, officers said. He was booked into the El Paso County jail.
