GE Johnson Construction Co. was selected as the construction manager/general contractor for the Pikes Peak summit complex project, officials said Thursday.

The Colorado Springs company was the contractor on the U.S. Olympic Committee’s downtown headquarters building and is the general contractor for the U.S. Olympic Museum project.

The project includes knocking down the current summit house on top of Pikes Peak and building three facilities on two building sites there.
