HOLIDAY WINE AND PINE
Holiday Wine & Pine is open to the public and donations will benefit the Bob Telmossé Foundation. The evening’s festivities will include wine tastings from an array of different vineyards from around the world in a collector’s glass, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment from Dueling Pianos Road Show in the main lobby, and a silent auction on the mezzanine terrace. Christmas trees will be available for guests to purchase or donate on site, courtesy of Harding Nursery. 5:30 p.m. at the Pikes Peak Center, 190 S. UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER 5K RUN OR 1 MILE WALK
It’s not just for office parties anymore! Now you can run in that ugly holiday sweater with hundreds of other people. Particpants can run or walk the 5 K or 1 mile event on a mostly flat, fine crushed gravel path in beautiful Monument Valley Park. Prizes to top three 5K overall male and female runners, as well as prizes for those donning the most ugly sweaters. A family friendly event, benefiting the Cerebral Palsy Association of Colorado Springs. 11 a.m. check-in at Beth-El Mennonite Church, 4625 Ranch Drive. WARM CLOTHING DRIVE
Donations of clean, gently used coats, jackets, hats, mittens, sweaters, and boots can be dropped off between 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Mondays-Fridays at Manitou Springs Real Estate, 727 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs.
