Fountain Olde Town Holiday

10 a.m.-3 p.m. in Fountain Olde Town area

Fountain’s 2015 holiday celebration will be bigger and better than ever before, said Donna LaChey, Localvore Colorado member. “And everything will be free for all who attend.”

Donna and her husband Jim LaChey, owners of Hillbilly Farms, will offer tractor-trailer hay rides around town to various activities, including a Christmas wreath contest, cookie decorating, visits with Santa Claus and a live Nativity scene. Visitors can also view the holiday themed window dressings in local business and retail shops.

“We want to have a good time and promote each other,” LaChey said. “We’d like everybody from the region to come down and enjoy themselves.” The Localvore Colorado Co-Op store, located at 205 S. Downton St. in Fountain, will host an indoor farmer’s market from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesdays through the winter months.
