Prescribed burn in Teller County postponed because of fire ban

A prescribed burn in Teller County has been postponed, according to Colorado Springs Utilities.

The burn, near North Catamount Reservoir, was scheduled for Monday but has been moved to later in the month because of a fire ban.

The burn will take place Oct. 26, so long as weather allows it, Colorado Springs Utilities spokeswoman Patrice Lehermeier wrote in an email.
