STARTING FRIDAY
Perfect for the Halloween season, this original adaptation of Tony and Academy Award nominee “Wait Until Dark” is on stage at the Fine Arts Center Theatre, 30 W. Dale St., through Nov. 1. A woman’s adorable apartment hides something that really bad men are after. Stars include several Best of the Springs winners: Jessica Weaver, Michael Lee, Adam Laupus, Micah Speirs, Mallory Hybl and Kyle Dean Steffen. – Learn all about your family’s story and share the building of your family tree with your kiddos during Family History Days. Classes will help with the genealogy search and show how to use ancestry technology. – And the trains go choo choo choo. Model railroad trains and vendors are the order of the day at Saturday’s Pikes Peak Division National Model Railroad Association Train Show & Swap Meet. – Not your everyday experience: A klezmer fusion band whose danceable moving and grooving are set in ancient Jewish tradition. Add to that gypsy music, rock, reggae, salsa, funk and blues influences. – Guess who’s coming to town! Local tweens and tween TV/movie stars will spend the afternoon together starting at 1 p.m. Sunday when Tween Stars Live arrives at Pikes Peak Center, 190 S. Cascade Ave. On stage in this interactive show are Dez, “Austin & Ally;” Adam, “Zapped;” Judy, “KC Undercover;” Farkle, “Girl Meets World;” Bella, “Bella & The Bulldogs;” and Emma, “Jessie/Bunk’d.” The list of stars could change according to their filming schedules. – Learn the history of Woodland Park through art as that city’s “The Story of Us” mural is dedicated from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Roland McCook, great-great grandson of Chief Ouray and Chipeta, who is in the mural representing the Native Americans from the Ute Pass area, will offer a traditional Indian blessing.
