An overnight semi-truck crash on U.S. Highway 24 will leave the highway partially shut down for around three hours on Monday, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Just after midnight on Monday morning, a semi carrying a load of trees went down an embankment. There were no injuries in the crash, but the semi was left until crews could remove it on Monday morning.

The crash was near milemarker 222 in Chaffee County, just west of the Park County line and between Johnson Village and Antero Junction, according to state patrol.

State patrol will be ushering drivers through one lane that is still open to traffic, according to dispatchers. The use of the one lane will alternate between east and westbound traffic.
