Klee blog: Is Peyton Manning’s glove a shield from Patriots’ deception?
Michael Ciaglo, The Gazette
Peyton Manning’s glove was gone. Now it’s back.
The Patriots were acquitted. Now they’re back.
Coincidence?
There’s more to this NFL thing than passing, catching, tackling. There are black helicopters, grainy photographs, secret service. NFL rivals for years have routinely locked doors, swept hotel floors and generally distrusted the New England Patriots, according to this damning report from ESPN. The Patriots also targeted Manning’s hand signals, the report says.
Know what goes on a hand? A glove.
Know what Manning wore Monday in preparation for Week 1 — after playing the entire preseason without one? A glove.
Not saying, just saying: It should be quite clear, in the NFL’s conspiracy theory era, what’s going on around here. Peyton Manning owns an electromagnetic glove, made of aluminum foil and/or copper, that not only blocks the Pats’ radio frequencies but also blinds a man who stares too long. Seems clear to me, anyway.
When the Patriots were acquitted, Manning’s glove had to be fitted.
