CU sororities’ ‘Go Greek’ chalk writings vandalized with ‘Get Raped’ messages

An unknown person wrote about the sexual assault of sorority members on several chalk advertisements for the University of Colorado’s Greek life programs on campus Monday.

The original chalk writings read “Go Greek,” advertising rush week for CU’s sororities, which takes place later this week. But next to some of the writings, a person wrote, “Get raped! Sorority girls have triple the probability of sexual assault!”

Ryan Huff, a spokesman for CU, said the university was aware of some of the writings, but did not say how many were vandalized or whether they were all already cleaned.

“We’re aware of it,” Huff said.
