Colorado Springs ranks No. 73 on list of nation’s healthiest housing markets

Personal finance website WalletHub is out with another list; this one looks at 300 metro areas around the country and ranks the healthiest housing markets in 2015.

WalletHub compiled its rankings based on 14 factors, including the percentage of homes in which owners owed more on their mortgages than their properties were worth, the average number of days a house sat on the market before selling and median home price appreciation.

Colorado Springs ranked No. 73 on the list; among 62 cities with a population of 300,000 or more, the Springs ranked No. 19. Colorado placed 10 cities in WalletHub’s top 30 cities, including Arvada at No. 3. Tops on the overall list? Frisco, Texas. Last on the list? Flint, Mich.
