– It used to be a tradition to head downtown for a Saturday movie, and it has returned in an all-new way – atop a city parking garage. For the summer, families are invited to Starlight Cinema, kicking off Saturday with “Back to the Future” – and there’s free VIP parking if you drive your DeLorean. The fun starts at 6 p.m. on the rooftop of the parking garage at 215 N. Cascade Ave., where the band Balanced Rock will entertain and there are family activities, food and a beer garden before the free movie at dusk. Free bike parking, car parking in the garage for $1. – Jeff Valdez’s Comedy Corner is coming back home for a look back 25 years in Ha2HA Comedy Corner – 25th Year Reunion to Help Autism! These meat-and-potatoes careers are what “Working, The Musical” is all about; set to music by James Taylor, the show has moved from Broadway to the Dusty Loo Bon Vivant Theater, 3955 Regent Circle, through June 20. What exactly does your job say about you? Let director/choreographer Drew Fountain, an alumnus of Colorado Springs Conservatory, demonstrate musically in Tony Award-nominee fashion in the conservatory presentation featuring other alums, students mentors and guest performers from the community.
