Rescuers resume search for missing tuber in Colorado creek
Emergency rescue crews resumed their search of Boulder Creek this morning for a 31-year-old man who went missing while tubing in the 40-degree waters Monday night.
Emergency crews arrived at Boulder Creek near Arapahoe Avenue and Foothills Parkway just before 9 a.m. today to resume the search for Chris Danko, who was reported missing by a friend at 8:30 p.m. Monday after going tubing in that area.
Boulder police spokeswoman Kim Kobel said four teams will be searching the creek from Foothills to 75th Street, and will meet to reassess their progress at noon.
“We’d really like to find him alive,” Kobel said.
