Pikes Peak Association of Realtors has endorsed John Suthers for Colorado Springs mayor, Larry Bagley for City Council District 2, Merv Bennett, Tom Strand and Jariah Walker for City Council at-large.

Suthers to host open house events

Colorado Springs mayoral candidate John Suthers will host his next campaign open house from noon to 2 p.m. March 15 at his campaign headquarters, 214 N. Tejon St. Suthers will talk about city issues and solutions and provide campaign materials for volunteers. The next open house is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 21.

Tickets available for debate at UCCS

The Gazette and KKTV have partnered with the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs to host a Colorado Springs mayoral debate at 7:30 p.m. March 19 in Berger Hall.

The debate will feature the four leading mayoral candidates Amy Lathen, Mary Lou Makepeace, Joel Miller and John Suthers. The 90-minute debate will be broadcast live on MyKKTV, channel 41 on Comcast and streamed live on gazettedev.gazette.com and KKTV.com. The debate will be archived on both The Gazette’s and KKTV’s web pages.

The Regional Leaders Forum, Downtown Partnership and the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute also are sponsors of the debate.

The event is free and open to the public. However, seating is limited and attendance requires a ticket, available at events.uccs.edu/event/mayoral-forum.
