BLOG: It’s going to be an icy week

One more day in snowy Colorado and I’ll be heading out with my teammates to balmy Fargo, N.D.

As my Gazette co-worker Nathan Van Dyne observed: Our prize for winning the regional championship was the opportunity to compete in USA Curling’s Club National Championships.

In Fargo.

In March.

Why didn’t I take up beach volleyball? Or tennis? Golf, even?

We’ll play two 10-end games a day Sunday through Thursday and, if we reach our goals, the semifinals on Friday and the finals on Sunday.

Go, Team Colorado!

I’ll try to post photos and updates regularly here on the blog and on Twitter. We welcome and are thankful for your support!

Good curling, everyone!
