Pueblo woman convicted in Fountain-area crash that killed 3

A woman who killed three people while driving under the influence was convicted Wednesday on 10 charges, including eight felonies.

Jade Courtney Valdez, 24, of Pueblo was found guilty on three charges each of vehicular homicide involving DUI, vehicular homicide resulting from reckless driving and careless driving resulting in death. The October 2013 crash was on Interstate 25 near the Pikes Peak International Raceway. Valdez was the lone survivor of the single-vehicle rollover crash.

She also was found guilty of driving under the influence with a prior alcohol violation, a misdemeanor.

Valdez will be sentenced April 10.
