Ballot Countdown: District 4 candidates can pick up packets Thursday
District 4 candidates can pick up packets
Candidates interested in running for the Colorado Springs District 4 council seat against Councilwoman Helen Collins can begin circulating petitions Thursday.
A group of citizens was successful in getting a Collins recall question on the April 7 ballot. Should people vote to recall Collins, the elected candidate will serve the remainder of the term.
Candidate filing documents and nominating petitions can be picked up in the City Clerk’s Office, 30 S. Nevada Ave., Suite 10, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Petitions must be returned to the clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Feb. 11. Interested candidates must gather 50 signatures from registered voters in District 4.
