BLOG: So you think you can curl

The sport of curling is easy to learn but takes years to master.

Members of the Broadmoor Curling Club will teach you the basics of the game and get you into your first game in a couple of hours.

And for just $30.

You’re guaranteed to learn something new and have a great afternoon, so grab the family or a couple of friends and come curl with us on Sunday or on Jan. 25.

Two 2-hour sessions will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday and Jan. 25 at the Colorado Sports Center in Monument.

Cost is just $30 a person or $50 a couple or $70 a family. Yes, we have a military discount.

What you need to bring: layers of warm clothing. Note: Jeans are not the best attire for curling; sweatpants are more appropriate. Also, please wear or bring clean tennis/sport shoes.

We’ll provide the rest.

Register at the Broadmoor Curling Club’s website: coloradocurling.org.
